Inter-School Clay Modeling Competition Held – Jammu and Kashmir Latest News | Tourism

JAMMU, November 12: New era Environmental High School held a clay modeling competition today under the umbrella of Searching for Young Talent (a school forum), here today.
Twenty-two ninth-grade students from eleven different schools participated in the program. The students showed their skill in shaping the clay. They were asked to make four kitchen utensils.
The jury included Jasleen Singh, Lecturer in the Department of Sculpture, Ankush Kesar Engraver and Artist in the Department of Painting, Institute of Music and Fine Arts, University of Jammu.
The first prize was won by Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial High School, while Lawrence Public High School Panjtirthi got the second prize while Bikram Memorial High School took the third prize.
At the end, Maitree Jain Administrator congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of the participants. She also thanked the judges for rendering the good judgment.
