PM Modi urges parents to help children explore their own interests

After two years of online interaction due to Covid-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today hosted a face-to-face interaction with students, teachers and parents across the country at his annual flagship event , Pariksha Pe Charcha. During his interaction with students, parents and teachers, PM asked students not to follow the best from the previous year, but rather to create their own preparation strategy.

Modi will interact with students, teachers and parents around the world during the 5th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi from 11 a.m. The Prime Minister will interact with students in grades 9-12, their parents and teachers in an interactive town hall format. More than 15 lakh had registered to participate in the program.

Pupils, teachers and parents who will be able to ask the Prime Minister questions have been pre-selected based on an online creative writing competition on a range of themes. The competition was organized from December 28 to February 3, 2022, via the MyGov platform.

Not only is he expected to share council exam tips but he is also likely to talk about CUET which is being launched to make councils low stakes and enroll students via entrance exam and not the 12th score.

This event has been successfully organized for four years by the School Education and Literacy Department of the Ministry of Education. The first three editions of the PPC were held in New Delhi in an interactive town hall format. The 1st edition of the Prime Minister’s interaction program “Pariksha Pe Charcha 1.0” was held on February 16, 2018.

The event will be streamed live on Doordarshan (DD National, DD News, DD India), Radio Channels, TV Channels, Digital Media including YouTube Channels of EduMinofIndia, Narendra Modi, PMO India, GDP India, Doordarshan National, MyGovIndia, DDNews, Rajya Sabha TV, Swayam Prabha.
